Water-dispersed bismuth-doped strontium pyrovanadate phosphor particles with sub-degree celsius thermal resolution

Abstract

The lifetime and emission of water-dispersed Sr 2 V 2 O 7 :Bi 3+ exhibit strong thermal quenching around ambient temperatures. The high-temperature sensitivity and microsecond lifetime of this material make it suitable for temperature imaging applications.
