Use educational data mining to enhance student achievement and performance of physical subjects

Abstract

Every year, educational institutions analyze the success rate of students in order to develop their academic standard and avoid failure. To determine this rate, there are several types of techniques, such as statistics, physical examination, and in-course data mining techniques. In this study, we will follow one of the educational data mining techniques to explore massive data, in order to extract useful elements to improve the performance and performances of physics students using information on their academic results, their behaviour in class, their participation in activities, etc.The technique of extracting data from KNIME and other algorithms was used in this study.
