Allocation of time dedicated by students to studying their academic subjects is a crucial variable that necessitates careful consideration in the pursuit of achieving high academic standards. Thus, improving study habits and time management could boost student achievement; it is the responsibility of institutions to ensure learners utilise their study time meaningfully. This study investigated the influence of university support services on students in universities in Southwestern Uganda. The sample of 306 participants who were issued with a self-administered questionnaire to measure the influence of university support on student study time was drawn from three Universities and selected from the faculties of Humanities and Science using random sampling. Descriptive statistics and inferential statistics were used to examine the influence and significance of university support services on study time. The findings obtained demonstrated a positive correlation between university support services and student study time, and that university support services were significant influencers of student study time. However, it was also noted that administrative support and infrastructure support had a weak correlation with the study, and the same variable negatively influenced student study time. From the results of this study, it is recommended that universities should institute measures and programs that strengthen and enhance academic and supervision support systems that improve students’ study time management and utilisation, as they have been noted to be strong indicators of academic performance
