Recent field studies in the south‐west regions of Saudi Arabia have allowed the collection of Solanum species which have proven to represent new records for Saudi Arabia flora. These three new records are Solanum dulcamara L., Solanum sisymbriifolium Lam ., and Solanum torvum Swartz of the family Solanacaeae . A detailed morphological description, distribution and habitat of each of these species is provided with illustrations and photographs. The report of these new species to the flora of Saudi Arabia indicates that the country needs more thorough botanical exploration.
