The Role of Agricultural Extension Magazine in Diffusing Some Agricultural Innovations among Local Leaders at Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate

Abstract

The aim of the research was to determine Agricultural Extension Magazine Role In Diffusing Some Agricultural Innovations Among Local Leaders At Kafr El –Sheikh Governorate The research was carried out in Kafr El-Sheikh governorate on a sample of 158 respondents distributed to the two centers according to the contribution of each village in the overall comprehensive. The results showed that about 18% of the local leaders interviewed did not have an agricultural extension magazine as a source of their knowledge of tilapia culture in paddy fields despite their arrival, while about 82% of the local leaders The results showed that about 22% of the local leaders surveyed did not have a source of information about climate change and their effects on crops, and how to cope with them despite their arrival, while about 78% of the respondents The results showed that about 17% of the local leaders surveyed were not the agricultural extension magazine source from their sources of information in the modern management of irrigation and to meet the water challenges in spite of the arrival of them, While about 83% of local leaders interviewed relied on the Agricultural Extension Journal as a source of their information
