The Impact of Sustainable Entrepreneurial Leadership on Enhancing Social Performance in Moroccan SMEs

Abstract

In Morocco, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) play an important role in the economy, but their social performance is still not well understood. This study aims to explore how sustainable entrepreneurial leadership affects the work environment, employee well-being, and social performance of Moroccan SMEs. In this study, 82 entrepreneurs and employees filled out a structured questionnaire, and the data were examined using SPSS. The results suggest that when leaders act with ethics and responsibility, they help build a more positive work atmosphere. This has a direct effect on how satisfied and supported employees feel. As a result, the overall social performance of SMEs improves. The research shows that sustainable leadership isn't just about good intentions it also plays a practical role in supporting employees and helping businesses in Morocco grow over time.
