book chapter
The application of magnetic sorbents (MSs) for the sequestration of dyes from aqueous solutions has gained significant attention due to the environmental and health concerns associated with dye pollution. MSs offer a viable solution for theremoval of dyes from aqueous solutions. Their high adsorption capacity, selective adsorption, easy separation, reusability and regeneration, application flexibility, potential for combination with other treatment methods, and scalability make them effective materials in addressing the challenge of dye pollution. This chapter provides a comprehensive overview of the use of MSs as efficient and sustainable materials for the removal of dyes.
