Salt stress is one of the major challenges for sustainable agriculture, particularly in areas vulnerable to the effects of climate change. This chapter explores the impact of cultivation in association with halophytes on the salt tolerance of Rosmarinus officinalis, a glycophyte plant. Experience has shown that salt stress negatively affects the growth of rosemary. However, association with halophytes significantly improved morphological and physiological parameters by regulating cell hydration, increasing proline concentration, total sugars, and maintaining photosynthesis. The results suggest that this agroecological approach, by integrating salt-tolerant plants, could be a viable solution for enhancing crop resilience in the face of soil salinization and extreme climatic conditions. This study contributes to the advancement of knowledge on the integration of halophytes into agricultural practices and to the search for sustainable solutions for agriculture in the context of climate change.
