the underwater inspection and cleaning of ship hulls pose significant challenges due to the harsh and often inaccessible nature of underwater environments. This research addresses these challenges by developing a novel transmission and control system for an Autonomous Underwater Surveillance Vehicle (USV) designed specifically for inspecting and cleaning ship hulls. Focusing on the complexities of underwater communication, we adopt a combined approach using communication technologies tailored for aquatic environments alongside proven transmission techniques. Our methodology incorporates advanced control algorithms and sensor fusion techniques, showcasing the system's efficacy in executing inspection and cleaning tasks through rigorous experimental evaluations. Special emphasis is placed on exploring acoustic and optical communication methods to optimize underwater data transmission range and reliability. This research underscores efforts to minimize interference, ensuring stable communication with the underwater surveillance vehicle.
