This project aims to design an IoT home automation application. The suggested system involves a range of sensors gathering temperature and humidity information, then using an Arduino microcontroller linked to an Android mobile app for processing. This enables the transmission of data to the mobile app via Bluetooth, ensuring instant updates. In this context, the temperature and the humidity are measured using a DHT11 sensor. In addition, a MQ2 sensor is employed to manage the detection of gas leaks within the kitchen. Last but not least, we utilize an HC-SR04 Ultrasonic sensor to oversee the operation of the garage door, regulating its opening and closing. The developed home automation system stands out due to its integration of key elements such as real-time operation, affordability, adaptability, upgrade potential, and reconfigurable features.
