Sliding mode control of an isolated DC-DC full bridge power converter for fuel cell applications

Abstract

This work presents the modulation and control of a boost power converter using Sliding mode control (SMC) for fuel cell applications. The used model, a full bridge isolated DC-DC power converter, is modeled for voltage regulation. Moreover, the SMC is applied to this system to achieve a negligible error between the DC-DC power converter output voltage and the desired voltage. A simulation result shows the dynamic response of the controlled system with a variable load.
