Simvastatin suppresses ethanol effects on the kidney of adolescent mice

Abstract

Simvastatin proved to suppress collagen deposition and the TNF-α production induced by ethanol in the kidney of mice thus indicating its effectiveness in the treatment of ethanol-related renal diseases.
