Simulation Data for: A Dimensionless λ Framework for Electromagnetic Attenuation Under Periodic Torque Excitation in SVPWM-Fed Induction Motor Drives

2026Open accessJimma University

Abstract

MATLAB/Simulink simulation data for a 4 kW squirrel-cage induction motor under periodic sinusoidal load torque. Contains two datasets: (1) a 3×3 parametric sweep across three torque amplitudes (8.0, 13.4, 18.7 Nm) at three load frequencies (5, 10, 20 Hz), and (2) a continuous frequency sweep from 1 to 20 Hz at 70% rated torque amplitude. Motor parameters: Pn=4000W, Vn=400V, nr=1430rpm, Rs=1.405Ω, Rr=1.395Ω, Lm=0.1722H, J=0.0131kg·m², Vdc=565V, fsw=5000Hz. Simulated in MATLAB/Simulink R2024a using fixed-step ode5 solver at Δt=1e-5s.
