This work discusses shifted Legendre basis functions on the numerical solution for the class of integro-differential equations. This class of problems is challenging to solve analytically, necessitating an approximate numerical solution. Legendre polynomials are used as basis functions in the approximation to provide solutions to such problems. This method involves less computational cost and less computer storage. The results obtained are in total agreement with Daraina (2016).
