The Internet of Vehicles (IoV) connects the car to everything, bringing more convenience to people's lives and improving traffic management and road safety, while medical systems integrate devices and networks to enhance healthcare delivery and patient safety. However, information exchange in both IoV and medical systems significantly increases the risk of cyber-attacks. New security threats have emerged, making it of vital importance to ensure the cybersecurity of both domains. Therefore, in this position paper, we stress the importance of discussing the integra-tion of cybersecurity technologies within the vehicle and medical de-vice development lifecycles and fostering collaboration across the en-tire value chain to enhance their cybersecurity. Additionally, as emerging technologies such as AI, ML, blockchain, and advanced cryptography can improve cybersecurity performance, we present their applications and discuss the challenges and future work of integrating them into the cybersecurity systems of Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAVs) and medical environments.
