Revitalizing Continuous Education

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital learning has transformed education, providing learners with incomparable access to various materials and the flexibility of remote courses. Despite these benefits, issues such as limited contact and sustained learner commitment highlight the need for creative educational techniques based on social learning concepts. The chapter aims to design and implement a small private online course (SPOC) that leverages social learning for the UM6P community. The SPOC is designed to provide a personalized and interactive educational experience through the use of multimedia, interesting learning activities, and participant engagement. The ultimate purpose is to create awareness and encourage acculturation within the UM6P community around the critical issue of sustainable development.
