This study maps the nexus between technology and skills within the Industry 5.0 transition. Using a Systematic Integrative Review of 87 Scopus articles analyzed via IRaMuTeQ, three thematic clusters emerged: the emergence of a human-centric socio-technical paradigm, the implementation of human-machine symbiosis through trust-based architectures, and the critical gap between vision and reality in skills and governance. We propose an integrative discussion highlighting the necessity of Regulatory Cultural Stewardship and Education 5.0 frameworks to ensure sustainable adoption. The research opens avenues for resolving ethical dilemmas and preventing human-washing, structuring this emerging field for equitable digital transformation.
