Abstract

The datasets used in this study were obtained from publicly available online sources. The UHI intensity was obtained using Landsat 7 satellite images from the years 2000 to 2020. The criteria for the selection of the Landsat images was based on UHI intensity being at its peak during the dry season. The month of March was selected as it is the hottest month of the year in Ghana. As such all the acquisition dates for the Satelitte images are in March. All charts in the dataset were produced using Microsoft Excel.
