Quantum-Resistant Blockchain for Secure Health Data Exchange in Post-Quantum Era

Abstract

Traditional encryption methods fall short to quantum computing, which is a serious threat to sensitive healthcare data. This paper explores the intersection of blockchain technology and post-quantum cryptography as a new paradigm to protect health information in a quantum-centric future. The paper presents the latest approaches for safeguarding electronic health records, genomic data, and telemedicine systems against quantum attacks by examining the use of quantum-resistant algorithms and decentralized architectures. Their factor is to enhance data privacy, integrity, and interoperability while providing solutions for maintaining data security in the quantum computing era. The present work adds knowledge to the ongoing reinforcement of resilient and secure health systems that can adapt to the continuously changing digital landscape.
