<bold>Introduction:</bold> Bronchopulmonary cancer(BPC)significantly disrupts patients' lives due to lengthy,multimodal chemotherapy Their qualityof life is an important parameter to closely monitor This study aimed to evaluate the quality of life of patients followed for BPC and treated with chemotherapy Methodology We conducted a descriptive study including60patients with stageIIIandIV BPC We assessed patients'quality of life using the EORTC QLQ-C30 and EORTC LC-13questionnaires administered in Tunisian dialect by the same physician The researchers obtained EORTC approval for theuse of thesequestionnaires <bold>Results:</bold> The average time from symptom onset to first consultation was112days range:14-365days All of our patients had received at least one first-line chemotherapy regimen combining a platinum salt with another molecule in59cases(99%) There was a statistically significant difference between the average physical ability scores of patients who experienced deterioration in their general condition due to chemotherapy and those who were not affected by this complication,with p=0.025and95%CI There was a statistically significant difference in the global quality of life scores,which were lower in patients who experienced oral mycosis compared to those who did not,with p=0.043and95%CI There was a statistically significant difference in the global quality of life scores between patients who experienced pain as a complication and those who did not,with p=0.013and95%CI <bold>Conclusion:</bold> Evaluating thequality of life during the follow-up ofpatients undergoing chemotherapy is acrucial element in their management,highlighting the importance of optimizing palliative care and establishing a comprehensive approach to managing the patient on all fronts of the disease
