This document presents the research protocol for a PRISMA 2020-compliant systematic literature review on adaptive Quality of Service (QoS) management in energy-constrained IoT networks. The protocol covers: (1) five research questions addressing network types, QoS parameters, algorithmic approaches, adaptation mechanisms, and evaluation methods; (2) the search strategy across Scopus, Web of Science, IEEE Xplore, and ScienceDirect for the period 2018–2025; (3) inclusion and exclusion criteria; (4) the four-stage PRISMA study selection process; (5) data extraction procedures; and (6) a multi-criteria quality assessment framework. The review analyzes 147 peer-reviewed articles classified into six algorithmic categories across ten IoT network architectures. The accompanying Excel files contain the complete article classification database (Liste de 147 articles.xlsx) and the inter-rater reliability calculations using Fleiss' Kappa with three independent reviewers (Kappa_3_Authors.xlsx).Amendment (v2, May 2026): Two references updated in the article corpus.
