This paper discusses the production of liquid Biofertilizer from cassava peels and chicken droppings using microbial inoculants as a cost-effective fertilizer option. Cassava peels and chicken droppings are easily available, inexpensive sources of organic matter. Microbial inoculants, which are microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi, are used to ferment the organic matter. The paper aims to optimize the Biofertilizer production process and evaluate its effects on the nutrient content of the soil medium and its effect on plant growth parameters. The production process involves the use of a low-cost production unit to process the ingredients and produce liquid Biofertilizer. The different steps of the process are discussed and the equipment used is described. After optimizing the production process through experimentation, the nutrient content of the soil medium was evaluated. The results showed that the liquid Biofertilizer was effective in increasing the nutrient content of the soil. The organic matter content of the soil was significantly higher than the control treatments, and the soil pH was also higher. The microbial inoculants used in the production process were found to be beneficial in increasing the nutrient content of the soil and also on plant growth, which is better than the commercially available liquid organic fertilizer. Overall, this paper outlines an effective, low-cost method for producing liquid Biofertilizers using cassava peels and chicken droppings. Through the optimization and evaluation of the nutrient content of the soil, the method was found to be effective in increasing the nutrient content of the soil.
