Abstract

The prevalence of <i>E. coli</i> was remarkable. It could be recommended that pregnant women in antenatal care have routine culture and antimicrobial susceptibility tests to prevent transmission of resistant pathogens and complications in both pregnant mothers and the unborn baby.
