Introduction : La maladie de Kaposi (MK) buccale causée par l’herpès virus humain de type 8 (HHV-8) est une complication importante du VIH/sida notamment en Afrique subsaharienne, où le VIH et le HHV-8 prévalent. Malgré le traitement antirétroviral (TAR), la MK buccale persiste au Cameroun, contribuant à la morbidité et à la mortalité. Cette étude visait à estimer la prévalence et à caractériser la MK buccale chez les patients atteints du VIH/sida à Yaoundé, ainsi qu’à évaluer son impact sur la qualité de vie.
