A very efficient way to solve practically all nonlinear systemic issues is with a fuzzy PID controller. In order to dampen power system oscillations on the kundur system as a medium system, the conventional power system stabilizer (CPSS), static fuzzy PID controller for power system stabilizer (SFLC-PID), and hierarchical fuzzy logic controller for power system stabilizer (HFLC-PSS) are applied in this study. In all case studies, the findings show that the HFLC-PSS is superior to the CPSS and SFLC-PID (damping power system oscillations on kundur system as a medium system). The simulation results confirm that the suggested HFLC-PSS controller is successful in delivering the desired dynamic response of the system under investigation.
