The purpose of this paper was to explore the preferred entry ports and locations of settlement of undocumented immigrants into Tete Province in Mozambique. This is an exploratory and descriptive study of 361 undocumented migrants in the border towns of Tete Province linking Zambia and Malawi. An integration of convenience, maximum variation as well as respondent driven sampling strategies to enrol the 361 units of investigation in this study. Data from a survey questionnaire were analysed utilizing SPSS version 28. The findings demonstrate that undocumented immigrants utilise three principal routes to enter Tete Province and these are (i) the Vila Nova Border Line, (ii) the Calómue Dedza Border Line, and the Mwanza-Zobwe Route. These findings provide background empirical evidence for use by policymakers when it comes to designing and implementing appropriate strategies regarding portals of entry among undocumented migration into Tete Province.
