Abstract

Individuals can express and respond to pain differently due to ethnocultural diversity within a nation. Researchers and clinicians should consider cultural context while applying the prevailing <i>one-size-fits-all</i> pain assessment tools among surgical patients of a nation with ethnocultural diversity.
