The dataset comprised routine antimicrobial resistance (AMR) surveillance data collected between 2021 and 2025 from tertiary referral and county-level hospitals across Kenya, including both public and private health facilities. The data were obtained through the National Public Health Institute (NPHI) surveillance system and included laboratory records of bacterial isolates and antimicrobial susceptibility testing results. Surveillance focused on WHO priority bacterial pathogens, with organism selection and pathogen–antimicrobial combinations guided by WHO GLASS recommendations. The dataset captures information on pathogen distribution and resistance profiles to commonly used antibiotics, providing nationally representative data for monitoring AMR trends and informing public health interventions.
