This study investigates the optimization of self-compacting concrete (SCC), which is crucial for modern construction due to its ability to create durable and high-performance structures. The research delves into various weighting methods utilized in SCC formulation, underscoring their pivotal role in determining the ideal combination of components. It explores objective weighting techniques and their application in enhancing SCC performance by assigning weights to individual elements. Additionally, the effectiveness of additives such as superplasticizer, limestone filler, silica fume, and viscosity modifiers in enhancing SCC properties is assessed. Utilizing the Taguchi-TOPSIS method, the study proposes a systematic approach to tailor SCC formulations to specific criteria. The key findings demonstrate that the integration of the entropy method significantly enhances the optimization process, leading to improved flowability and stability of SCC. These insights provide a comprehensive framework for optimizing SCC, offering practical guidelines for the construction industry to achieve superior concrete performance.
