This paper presents a study on a highly sensitive microwave sensor designed for the detection of a single yeast bioparticle. The sensor design integrates a planar microwave annular ring-gap resonator, coupled with a microfluidic channel for precise bioparticle manipulation. To optimize field confinement and maximize electric field strength, a small gap has been introduced into the resonator. This approach holds great potential for various applications.
