Optimal Maintenance Management In Microgrids With Digital Twin Integration: A Dynamic Scheduling Approach

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to explore the optimization of maintenance management in microgrids integrating advanced technologies such as digital twins. The study particu-larly aims to highlight the potential and opportunities of digital twinning and dynamic scheduling in optimizing maintenance activities. To achieve this purpose, a novel dynamic maintenance scheduling approach has been designed in order to enhance preventive maintenance management practices within microgrids, then the Hungarian algorithm has been used to address the formulated framework. The promising potential of the developed approach has been evaluated through a practical case study.
