A second order super class of block backward differentiation formula is presented in this paper. The method is proposed as an efficient and alternative solver for the numerical integration of second order ordinary differential equations (ODEs). The method computes two point at each step of the integration and it’s of order three; it is zero stable and consistent which implies that the method is convergent.
