Network Governance Conceptual Framework for Community Microgrids: A Precursor to Operations and Management Interventions

Abstract

The primary purpose of this study is to develop a conceptual framework for network governance for community microgrids. The literature suggests that a governance arrangement precedes any operations and management interventions. Therefore, this approach is based on understanding that a network governance framework is a precursor for any operations and management interventions at community microgrid projects. There is a gap in the community microgrid literature on conceptual frameworks that integrate network governance and prosumer behaviour in community microgrid settings. This study seeks to close this gap by developing a network governance conceptual framework for community microgrids grounded on the Network Governance Theory and the Theory of Planned Behaviour.
