MATLAB Implementation of Mesh-flux MBGRN and HAM Models for Induction Machines

Abstract

This repository contains the MATLAB implementation of two modeling approaches for the magnetostatic analysis of induction machines: a pure Mesh-Based Generated Reluctance Network Model (MBGRNM) using a mesh-flux formulation, and a Hybrid Analytical Model (HAM) coupling MBGRN with an analytical air-gap solution of Maxwell's equations. The code reproduces the validation results presented in the associated IEEE Transactions on Magnetics paper, including air-gap flux density, winding fluxes, and electromagnetic torque under both single- and double-excitation conditions. Validation against 2D Finite Element Method simulations (FLUX) is included.
