Mathematical Modelling and Analysis of Coinfection Dynamics with Computer Simulation

Abstract

This article delves into the mathematical modeling and analysis of the co-dynamics of HIV and HCV, employing computer simulations for a comprehensive investigation. The study encompasses a qualitative analysis of the proposed model, scrutinizing critical aspects such as disease-free equilibrium, local and stability analysis, basic reproduction number, numerical simulation, and sensitivity analysis. Through these methodologies, the research aims to discern the intricate dynamics of the coexistence of HIV and HCV within a population. The investigation extends to the identification of the most sensitive parameters through sensitivity analysis, crucial for understanding the model's behavior under different conditions. Furthermore, the study explores the invariant region of the model, ensuring its mathematical and biological soundness. This endeavor contributes to a deeper comprehension of the interplay between HIV and HCV, offering valuable insights for the development of effective strategies in disease management.
