Maintenance has a major influence on the company's capacity to optimize its production system in order to fulfill its long-term objectives. The goal of this paper is to use various tools and techniques to examine how the installation of upkeep might affect a manufacturing process. A component of life cycle cost analysis, the cost breakdown structure was used to assess various costs. A financial assessment of the components was carried out to demonstrate the advantages of putting maintenance into practice. The outcome demonstrates that although initial maintenance installation costs may be high since it is difficult to gauge and monitor their effects on the company's bottom line, however, its essential significance in enhancing business efficiency and profitability cannot be overstated. As a result, maintenance is an area of profit rather than expense. Failures can be reduced by using effective maintenance techniques. Effective maintenance programs aim to boost a company's financial viability and competition by making financial-effective changes to the production process' productivity, effectiveness, and efficacy. For maintenance tasks, key inputs such labour, tools, equipment, management, replacement parts, and information are required. The objectives of maintenance optimizations and upgrades are increase in productivity and decrease in maintenance costs.
