dataset · Zenodo (CERN European Organization for Nuclear Research)
This dataset contains long-term climate data (1984–2024) for the Mid-Zambezi Biosphere Reserve (MZBR), Zimbabwe, extracted from NASA POWER (MERRA-2) reanalysis products. Climate variables include precipitation, minimum and maximum temperature, dew point temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, and surface pressure, obtained from twelve spatially randomised sampling locations across the reserve. The dataset was used to analyse historical climate trends and to support ecological modelling of baobab (Adansonia digitata) habitat suitability under current and future (2050) climate scenarios in the Mid-Zambezi Valley.
