LECTURERS' PERCEPTION OF UTILIZING DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES FOR INSTRUCTIONAL SERVICE DELIVERY IN BUSINESS EDUCATION PROGRAMME IN DELTA STATE UNIVERSITY, ABRAKA.

Abstract

The Study was conducted to ascertain lecturers’ perception of utilizing digital technologies for Instructional Service Delivery in Business Education programme in Delta State University, Abraka. Nigerian. Using a survey, design, the researcher utilized a sample of 24 lecturers from a department of Business Education and Institute of Education. This sample size constituted the population. Four research questions guided the study. Instrument for data collection was a structured questionnaire which consisted of 43 items and validated by experts in the field of measurement and evaluation. Responses on the instrument were measured on a 4-point rating scale. The reliability of the instrument was established using Cronbach Alpha and a reliability coefficient of 0.87. Descriptive statistics of mean, frequencies and percentages were used to answer the research questions. The findings shows that lecturers’ level of awareness of digital technology tools. is low, it was recommended that government owned institutions should organize training for lecturers to acquaint them of digital tools used for instructional service delivery
