It theoretically explores how land governance can contribute to Society 5.0 in the Industrial 5.0 age. It used artificial intelligence to produce visual depictions of Society 5.0. The key highlights of the study are that not achieving the global sustainable development goals could mean a non-human-centric Society 5.0. It produced a land governance requirement matrix that can enable the land sector functions align with Society 5.0 for sustainability, human-centricity and resilience.
