Intelligent Smart Home System: Secure Solution for Enhanced Efficiency and Comfort

Abstract

The smart home systems era has impressively advanced in the last decade, influencing many aspects in terms of security, efficiency, and ease. This paper presents a smart home security system that is a state of the art designed using TinkerCad for designing the circuitry and using Arduino IDE to implement code. The system combines door alarms, face recognition, automatic lighting, weather-based fan control, and Bluetooth remote control. We contribute to solving the challenges in integrating the low-power technology with strong security features, hence ensuring enhanced protection while guaranteeing energy efficiency. This work makes a comparison between our system and existing solutions, establishing improved functionality, energy consumption, and reliability.
