To keep up with the growing complexity of antennas used for high-speed communication, it is imperative to develop accurate and efficient methods to model such antennas for radio frequency (RF) compliance certification. This paper describes how machine learning optimizations were applied to a ray-tracing implementation of the methodology outlined in the IEC 62232 standard [1] to significantly improve the manual synthesis process.
