Polylactic acid, also known as PLA, is one of the most widely utilized materials for desktop 3D printing. It is the filament of choice for most extrusion-based 3D printers because it can be printed at low temperatures and does not need a heated bed. PLA is an excellent material to use in 3D printing because it is simple to print and inexpensive and produces parts that can be used for a variety of purposes. It is also one of the most eco-friendly filaments currently available. PLA, which is derived from corn and sugarcane, is renewable and, more importantly, biodegradable. Unfortunately, the disadvantages of PLA polymer, such as high brittleness, poor heat bending temperature, poor thermal stability, and non- conductivity, restrict its use in a variety of industrial applications. The preparation of PLA composites with suitable additives is the most effective method for improving the properties of FDM-printed PLA components.
