This research develops a structured implementation framework for ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management Systems in steel manufacturing, integrating ISO 50002 energy audits, PDCA methodology, and Energy Performance Indicator (EnPI) modelling to improve industrial energy performance. Using simulation and case-based validation, the study demonstrates measurable energy reductions of 10–18%, providing a scalable, data-driven approach for enhancing efficiency, reducing operational costs, and supporting decarbonization in energy-intensive steel production environments.
