Hybrid multi-chain credential anchoring on Ethereum — measurements, code and provenance (IJIES 20264839)

Abstract

Companion archive for the manuscript A Hybrid Multi-Chain Blockchain Architecture for E-Learning: Comparative Framework Analysis and a Measured Ethereum Certification Layer (International Journal of Intelligent Engineering and Systems, paper 20264839). Three credential-anchoring designs — an event-only registry, a storage-mapping registry and a minimal ERC-721 mint — were deployed on the public Ethereum Sepolia test network and measured under byte-identical call data and interleaved submission, so that the gas difference is attributable to the design rather than to the payload or to congestion. A multi-sender experiment measured the anchoring rate and inclusion latency at concurrency levels of one, two, four and eight senders, with percentile bootstrap confidence intervals, and a finality probe measured the delay to consensus-layer finalisation. Mainnet fee conditions and block occupancy were sampled to project cost onto observed rather than assumed conditions. The archive holds the raw receipt of every transaction with its block explorer link, the consolidated metrics file that every number in the manuscript traces to, the analysis and figure scripts, the pinned environment, the Solidity sources, a static-analysis report, and a provenance appendix that records, for every value taken from the literature, how far verification went. Reference implementations of the Hyperledger Fabric chaincode, the Solana interaction logger and the oracle relay are included under reference_not_deployed/. Those components were never deployed and never measured, and no number in the manuscript derives from them.
