In the chapter of this book dedicated to Green deep eutectic solvents (DES), we extensively delved into a wide range of elements. We began by examining numerous definitions and examples of these solvents derived from existing literature. Continuing on, our exploration extended to the meticulous description of several processes for preparing these innovative solvents (DES). Subsequently, we deepened the study by thoroughly presenting the characteristic physicochemical properties of Green deep eutectic solvents (DES), along with the multiple advantages they offer in comparison to conventional solvents (such as Ethanol: EtOH, Dimethyl sulfoxide: DMSO, Tetrahydrofuran: THF).
