A frequency-reconfigurable antenna for 5G applications that operate between 28 GHz and 38 GHz is presented in this study. The suggested design incorporates vertical and horizontal slots for frequency switching and impedance matching, and it has a layered structure with an elliptical upper patch and a hexagonal lower patch. The antenna performs effectively in both bands, achieving again of 7.4/7.9 dBi. It is appropriate for upcoming millimeter-wave 5G systems due to its small size and adaptable architecture. The commercial software applications from CST Microwave are used to design and simulate the suggested antenna.
