Framework of Bidirectional Supplier Buyer Matching in Supply Chains Using Blockchain Smart Contracts and Cooperative Game Theory

Abstract

Traditional approaches to supplier and buyer assessment have typically been conducted in isolation, with order allocation decisions made independently and without mutual visibility. This paper presents an innovative bidirectional matching framework that integrates five key components: (1) comprehensive supplier selection, (2) CRM-based buyer evaluation, (3) intelligent order allocation, (4) blockchain-enabled coordination, and (5) game-theoretic profit distribution. Our proposed system revolutionizes the matching process by systematically collecting and weighing both quantitative and qualitative criteria from all parties. The framework employs a multi-stage approach: first filtering participants through minimum threshold requirements, then applying Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) for preference ranking, and finally solving many-to-many allocation challenges through preference-guided optimization. This holistic solution creates transparency and alignment between buyers and suppliers while maximizing value creation across the supply chain.
