Feasibility study of 2-D Numerical model for Fluid-Structure Interaction analysis and Absorption Study of Red Blood Cell inside the Capillary

Abstract

This paper explores a novel methodology for the implementation of an application that simulates the behavior of Red Blood Cells (RBC) within capillaries in the purpose to develop sensor for Wireless Area Body Network (WBAN). The fluid-structure interaction between hemoglobin and plasma in the capillary is modeled through a 2D representation, considering the absorption, and scattering of photon beams. The proposed approach utilizes a metaheuristic algorithm to optimize the latency of the developed application. Initially, the application is transformed into an acyclic task graph, and subsequently, a metaheuristic algorithm is devised to ascertain the execution time, along with the requisite hardware and software resources for deploying the application on the hardware platform. The efficacy of the proposed method is assessed using MATLAB and COMSOL software, revealing superior accuracy in comparison to existing methods.
