This study aims to explore Moroccan EFL students' perceptions of using Grammarly as an AWCF tool, drawing on Davis's (1989) TAM, which focuses on perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude toward use, and behavioral intention. Using a mixed-methods research design, the study targeted 34 EFL students (18 female and 16 male, aged 20–43) from Semester 1 at the English Department of Hassan I University in Morocco. The respondents were selected using convenience sampling. Based on data collected from a Likert-scale questionnaire and some open-ended questions, findings indicate that students have positive attitudes toward Grammarly's AWCF. The AI tool is deemed useful and easy to use. Additionally, it can enhance students' writing skills, boost their confidence, and increase their motivation, making their writing experience agreeable. Despite the participants' willingness to continue using Grammarly in the future for their writing tasks, they highlighted several limitations of the tool in terms of feedback accuracy, style, tone, contextual appropriateness and overreliance.
