This paper presents a study of a hybrid photovoltaic thermal (PVT) air collector with fins absorber and a mathematical model based on a real database. The proposed methodology involves a calculation of the cell temperature of the hybrid collector, which is influenced by ambient temperature, wind speed and the solar irradiance. These parameters are necessary to calculate the electrical efficiency of the entire system. We present a dynamic model of the system, which was simulated using the MATLAB/Simulink environment, with the aim of subsequent experimental validation at the Energy Research and Technology Center in Borj Cedria, Tunisia. Based on a comparison between the theoretical values and the experimental measurements, by validation of Root Mean Square Deviation (RMSD). The simulation results showed a good agreement.
